At Desert Songwe offer Small Groups as an opportunity for each of us to Connect, to Care and to be Changed through a growing relationship with Jesus.. Our small groups meet every week in terms that last roughly ten weeks. Between terms are natural breaks, Christmas, spring and summer. This allows people to continue with the same group throughout the year, or to move to another group without feeling like your hurting anyone. With that, even groups that remain throughout the year take these breaks making it easy for people to jump out of, or to jump into a group as the year goes on.

Our groups are also designed to reproduce, meaning we feel it’s very healthy for groups to grow and to divide just like cells in a body. With that in mind every group has built into it an apprentice leader who can easily lead when it is time for that group to multiply. Our groups also meet in host homes separate from the leaders so that anyone interested in hosting does not have to have the additional weight of leading that group.

We have a variety of small groups that are constantly being added to. At any given time we will offer groups for those just discovering Jesus to those who want college level discipleship courses. We have groups that function around prayer and friendship, and others that may focus on a ministry . Undoubtedly there is a group for you.
