Who we are

Hello there and thanks for checking out our website. If you are searching for a church home we would love to connect with you. We understand how hard it can be to find a new church so we really hope the following information will help you to understand who we are and what we are about.  Have questions, click here to find answers to common questions about Desert Song Community Church. We welcome you to visit us any Sunday at 9am or 10:30am.  You can also gather with us online for our service live-streamed every Sunday at 10:30am. DS Kids

Have kids? We are sure to have a program your kids will love.  With exciting worship, games, an engaging Bible lesson, and incredible volunteers, your kids will be begging you to bring them to church each Sunday. Our Sunday morning DS Kids program serves children ages birth through 5th grade.  By planning a visit you can pre-register your kids. Our children's team is prepared  ready to serve you and your family every Sunday at both our 9 and 10:30am service times.

Where are you located?

We are located right in the heart of the city in downtown Redmond.  You'll find us on the corner of 5th and Evergreen right across from Wild Ride in the old Cent Wise Building.   Our physical address is 433 SW 5th Street Redmond OR 97756

What does a typical service look like? 

We strive to have an engaging service and we are not afraid to have fun doing it.  We offer something for everyone with a special service just for kids ages birth through 5th grade.  We believe that church should not be stuffy but relational and relatable.  Each week you will hear a challenging Jesus-centered message and be drawn into a passionate time of worship. You can expect the whole service to last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

What time is service? 

Our Sunday morning services are at 9 & 10:30 am.  You can also join us LIVE online during our 10:30am service.  Our DS Kids ages birth - 5th Grade meets during both of our Sunday morning services.  Echo Youth Grades 6-12 Sundays  from 6-8pm.  Atlas Young Adults Friday nights at  6:30pm. 

How do I join a life group?

Life Groups are one of the best ways that we grow relationally.  Our Life Groups meet weekly from Fall-Spring on various nights of the week.   More info here...

Where do I park?

Downtown parking can be a bit challenging.  We have limited parking right out front of our building with additional parking located at the US Bank (directly behind us) on the corner of 5th & W. Deschutes Ave or at the Wells Fargo public lot on SW Glacier & 6th. Need assistance with parking? Just pull up front and one of our friendly greeters will be happy to help.

How can I get involved serving?

There are so many great ways to serve and we would love to get you plugged in!  Connect with us at info@desertsong.org and we will point you in the right direction.  Joining our Growth Track is a great way to find our about all our different ministry opportunities and what areas best fit your interests and passions.  We hope you will seriously consider joining one of our Serve Teams! We run Growth Tracks every quarter so there is always an opportunity to jump right in. 

Is there something for my kids?

Absolutely!  Our DS Kid's Ministry is designed specifically for kids ages Birth - 5th grade and meets during our Sunday morning services at 9 or 10:30am.  Have older kids?  ECHO Youth Group meets Sunday evenings from 6-8pm for students in grades 6-12th grade.

What do I wear?

We are not formal here so come as you are!  We want you to feel comfortable and know you will never be judged no matter what you wear.
